Get Your Space Ready
Simple steps to help your photos and video look their best
QUICK TIPS FOR A SUCESSFUL SHOT
Before We Arrive: How to Prep the Space
Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, wipe down countertops, and clean windows and mirrors. A clean space always photographs and films better.
Overhead lights, lamps — everything on. Check and replace any bulbs that are out for a bright, welcoming look.
Stick to either all warm or all cool bulbs. Mixing color temperatures can make photos look off. Consistency is key.
Fans can cause motion blur in photos and video. Screens add unwanted reflections or color casts. Turn them all off for clean shots.
Natural light helps the space feel open and bright. Pull back heavy drapes and open blinds fully wherever possible.
Neatly made beds and fluffed pillows make the space feel polished and inviting. Straighten blankets and throws too.
Small rugs can break up the flow of the space. Removing them helps the room feel larger and allows the full flooring to shine.
Less clutter means better focus on the space itself. Hide everyday items like shoes, backpacks, chargers, pet toys, and bowls to keep things clean and distraction-free.

No — as long as we have access to the property. Many clients choose to step out during the shoot. If you prefer to stay, we ask that you stay out of the rooms we're actively photographing or filming.
We do not move furniture or stage the home. Please have the space fully prepped and staged the way you'd like it to appear in the final media.
If the space isn’t ready or pets aren’t secured, we may need to reschedule, which could result in a rescheduling fee. Please ensure the home is 100% ready before your appointment.
Pets should be secured or offsite during the shoot to avoid distractions and keep them safe.
We photograph the main living areas, kitchen, primary bedrooms, and bathrooms by default. If there’s a room you'd like us to include or skip, just let us know when booking.
Photos are delivered within 1–2 business days. Video and other services are delivered within 2–4 business days depending on the package.
You’ll receive a download link via email with your final, edited files.
If weather is a factor for outdoor shots (especially video or drone work), we may recommend rescheduling. Cloudy days are usually fine for interior shoots, but we’ll discuss options with you if weather could impact the final product.
